The hidden water of inland Valencia.
Why it stands out
- 01

How to get there
Best time: June to September for swimming; spring and autumn for walking with green countryside and no heat. In winter the water is cold and some pools run low.
Getting around: a car is essential; the spots are spread between villages and public transport is scarce.
Capacity: in summer several spots (Quesa pools, lake of Anna) regulate access or parking. Arrive early and check before going.
Bring: shoes you can get wet, water shoes, a change of clothes, food and water. Respect the environment: no soap in the river and take all your litter.
