The river that roars and the group that screams
Why it stands out
- 01
The rafting capital of Spain
The Noguera Pallaresa is the river with the longest tradition of whitewater rafting in the country, and Sort has lived off it since the 80s. River quality you won’t find in many other places.
- 02
Three adrenaline sports in a day
Bungee jumping at 10:00 AM, rafting or canyoning in the morning and paragliding in the afternoon. Few places pack so much into such a small space.
- 03
Rides for groups
Local operators who adjust the level and rural houses for 12-15 people: the logistics of a bachelor party or a weekend getaway with friends, sorted.
- 04
Real Pyrenees
Pallars Sobirà is high mountain country, unspoiled and uncrowded, with the Alt Pirineu Natural Park nearby. Adrenaline with a serious backdrop.

Frequently asked questions
Is it a good place for a stag/hen do or a group of friends?
It's one of the best in the Pyrenees. Activities run in groups, operators adapt the level and there are country houses for 12-15 people. Rafting, bungee and canyoning on the same day, minutes apart.
Do I need experience for rafting?
No. The usual stretch between Llavorsí and Sort suits beginners with a guide; you just need to swim and be healthy. For groups wanting more, there are advanced stretches and canyons.
When is the best time?
April to October. The best flow is April to June with the snowmelt; in August the river drops and runs calmer. The water is cold year-round (wetsuits are used).
Which activities can be combined in one day?
The typical schedule is a bungee jump at 10:00, a water activity mid-morning (rafting, canyoning or hydrospeed) and paragliding in the afternoon. It adapts to the group.
How do I get to Sort?
By car, about 2h30 from Barcelona and 1h30 from Lleida via the C-13. It's the most convenient way to move between activities and the country house.
