§02 — The place

The real Pyrenees, without the summit posing.

There’s a way to travel through the Pyrenees that doesn't involve reaching the summit at any cost. It’s about stopping at a mountain lake mid-morning, discovering that the water is still cold in July, and realizing that the reward wasn’t the peak but getting here. These routes are about taking it seriously so you can take your time, with someone who knows the area and takes care of the maps, logistics, and doubt about whether you’re on the right path.

    For all levels

From introductory weekend trips to demanding crossings. We help you choose the route that truly fits you.

  4. 04

    Nature and heritage together

Here the mountains coexist with Romanesque monasteries and stone villages. You don't just climb: you also understand where you are.

§04 — Who it fits

Who it fits

With friends Adventure Ecotourism Disconnection
This is a good fit if you really like hiking and prefer someone else to handle the logistics. You don’t need to be a mountaineer, but you should be willing to walk several hours on mountain terrain, with elevation gain and, depending on the route, some technical sections. If you’re looking for sightseeing from the car or don't want to break a sweat, this isn’t for you. This also isn’t high-altitude mountaineering with crampons and ropes, except on the most demanding crossings, which we always warn you about.

§06 — The practical side

Trek practicalities

Typical length

More practical details

Physical level & requirements

Variable depending on the route. Short breaks require normal physical condition and being able to walk 4-6 hours with elevation gain. Multi-day treks require good stamina, being used to hiking with a backpack and tolerance for long stages at altitude. The exact level is detailed in each trip’s information sheet.

How to get there

Season: The best time to go is from late June to October; in spring many high-altitude lakes remain frozen and there’s still snow. High mountain crossings depend on the state of the terrain.

What to bring: Well-worn hiking boots, technical layers, raincoat, hat and gloves (it gets chilly at altitude even in summer), sun protection, water and hiking poles if you use them.

How it works: The guide sets the pace of the group and decides on the fly if the weather requires a change of plans. Safety takes priority over the itinerary.

Recommendations

Book with leeway: places with a guide are limited and sell out quickly in summer. Arrive a day early if you’re coming from far away to acclimatize to the altitude and start rested. And be honest with yourself when choosing a route: it’s better to enjoy a moderate stage than struggle through a difficult one.

§08 — Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior mountain experience?

For day trips and half-day routes, no: a reasonable level of fitness is enough. For multi-day treks it’s advisable to be used to walking with elevation gain and a backpack. We'll help you choose according to your actual level.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The guide may modify or shorten the itinerary for safety reasons. The mountain dictates, and we prefer to change plans than take risks. We always look for an alternative so the day isn’t wasted.

Is the technical equipment included?

The company provides the collective equipment (maps, GPS, first-aid kit, radio and, when the route requires it, progression equipment). You provide your personal equipment – hiking boots, mountain clothing, backpack – we detail it for each trip.

Are there routes suitable for families or beginners?

Yes. The Valley of Aragón getaway and several half-day routes are designed for those starting out in the high mountains without major demands. Consult us and we will advise you.

How do I book?

You choose the route or tell us what you’re looking for and we'll put together a proposal with guide, accommodation and logistics. We finalize everything with you in a personalized way.
