Description

A coastal karst massif between Oriñón and Laredo, home to Europe's only griffon vulture colony on marine cliffs. Its twin summits of Solpico (489 m) and Peña Candina (476 m) command views over Cantabria's eastern coast. On its northern face, the Ojos del Diablo are two natural rock arches above the sea. Its Cantabrian oak woodland, limestone pavements, and dolines make it one of the most singular natural spaces on the Spanish coast.
