Description

Ruta de Senderismo para todos los públicos en un rincón que se escapa a los circuitos turísticos habituales. Piloña, puerta de la Comarca de los Picos de Europa, cuenta con un relieve amable salpicada de Cerros, entre los que discurren pequeños arroyos, afluentes del río que da nombre a este trozo de mundo, “el Piloña”. En esta excursión conoceremos la pequeña cascada del Chorrón y visitaremos la aldea abandonada de la Cueva, condenada al olvido con el éxodo rural de décadas pasadas. Como broche final a esta completa actividad  ascenderemos al Cerro el Tombu, que con sus modestos 600 metros de altitud preside el cauce alto del Piloña, dando vista al verde valle que se abre bajo nuestros pies, a la Sierra del Sueve y a los Picos de Europa, allá en la distancia.  Tras pasar por el pueblo de Torín, cerraremos de nuevo el círculo en el punto de inicio de esta ruta: Villamayor, el pueblo de las dos mentiras, pues ni es Villa ni es Mayor…
