Esta comarca cuenta con casi 300 cuevas, algunas de las cuales tienen más de 500 años y fueron empleadas desde antaño para  conseguir una óptima conservación del vino. Estas cuevas se han convertido en centros muy atractivos en los que puedes disfrutar de una experiencia gastronómica diferente, comer en una cueva es algo que si no has hecho nunca, te invitamos a probarlo verás qué atmósfera tan única. Con esta visita, te guiaremos hasta uno de los viñedos con los que cuenta la bodega, el lugar perfecto donde conocer las distintas clases de uvas, entre las que cabe hacer una mención a la Prieto Picudo, que da nombre a su DO. Una vez en el interior de la bodega, tendremos unas explicaciones en cuanto al proceso de creación del vino y entraremos en la cueva que hace de sala de barricas. Acabaremos con una cata de los vinos y acompañaremos con productos de proximidad y de temporada, para un buen maridaje. En la bodega y al acabar la visita, te espera un almuerzo en uno de los restaurantes cueva, en donde tendrás una mesa con un menú compuesto por embutidos variados, setas y una rica parrillada, acompañado de un vino leonés, el postre y café.
