Context
Diving in Santander takes place at the Puerto Deportivo Marina del Cantábrico, a coastal location with direct access to unique immersion sites such as the Isla de Mouro and historic shipwrecks. Visibility during spring and summer often exceeds 15 meters, and inflatable boats equipped with 225 CV Yamaha engines enable rapid transport to exclusive dive zones. The wind carries the scent of salt and seaweed.
The experience
After preparation at the official Mares center, equipped with Mares Lab technical support, you descend into the cool waters of the Cantabrian Sea. Guided by PADI and FEDAS-certified instructors, you explore rocky formations and underwater ruins while listening to the sounds of the sea and marine life. The dive lasts between 2.5 and 3.5 hours, including briefing and transfer.
For whom
Ideal for beginners seeking a personalized introductory dive, certified divers looking for sport or technical dives, and individuals in good health with swimming ability. Not suitable for those with health conditions that prevent diving or who cannot tolerate cold water.
