Context
Castellar de n'Hug, situated at 1,450 meters in the Natural Park of Cadí-Moixeró, offers a high-altitude environment with clearly marked trails that blend natural beauty and historical heritage. Here, rounded peaks and valleys of Ripollès create a landscape where the wind carries the scent of thyme and history lingers in Romanesque churches and museums.
The experience
Over two days, you’ll practice advanced hiking techniques, navigation, and the use of technology in outdoor exploration. You’ll walk along pastoral paths and forest trails, stopping at the Montgrony Sanctuary and the Cement Museum. The feel of earth and stone beneath your boots accompanies the sound of the Llobregat River flowing through mountain springs, as you learn to manage moderate elevation changes and varied terrain.

This course is ideal for hikers with basic experience seeking to refine their skills, as well as nature lovers interested in combining hiking with cultural heritage. Good physical fitness and the ability to walk on uneven terrain with moderate elevation gains are required.
