Why it stands out
- 01
Adventure graded by age
The adventure park has seven courses, from the green one for 3-year-olds to the adrenaline circuit for teens. There's a beginner via ferrata and kids' canyoning. Every child finds their level.
- 02
Pedraforca and a huge natural park
Catalonia's emblematic mountain presides over the valley, inside Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. The landscape isn't a backdrop: it's the reason to come.
- 03
Trains, springs and a Gaudí garden
The Cement Train climbs the Llobregat to its source at the Llobregat Springs, and the Artigas Gardens in La Pobla de Lillet are Gaudí's work. Culture that reaches children through play.
- 04
Less than two hours from Barcelona
Close enough for a weekend escape without spending the trip in the car, far enough to feel you've changed worlds.

Frequently asked questions
From what age does Berguedà work for kids?
From babies. The Cement Train, the Artigas Gardens and the Queralt funicular have no minimum age; the adventure park starts at age 3 with the green course.
How many days do I need?
A weekend (2 nights) covers one adventure day and one quieter day. With 3 nights you can take in the county at ease.
Do I need a car?
Yes. The points of interest are spread across the county and public transport between them is limited.
What about winter?
Many plans stay open, but access to Pedraforca via Vallcebre can be closed by snow (enter via Saldes) and it's worth confirming Cement Train timetables.
Is it very touristy?
It's a well-known family destination in Catalonia but without coastal crowds. Book ahead in August and on long weekends; the rest of the year it stays calm.
