Pozo Azul

Pozo Azul is a karst spring located in Covanera, in the province of Burgos, within the autonomous community of Castilla y León. It is a natural formation where underground water emerges to the surface, forming a pool of crystal-clear water with an intense blue color that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding green and rocky landscape. This geological phenomenon results from the filtration and accumulation of water in subterranean cavities, which surface through a flooded cave, creating a unique and serene setting.

When visiting Pozo Azul, you can admire the clarity and blue hue of the water, attributed to the purity and mineral composition of the spring.
