Description

Context The Natural Park of Corralejo Dunes, located in the northeast of Fuerteventura, is the largest dune area in the Canary Islands. The sand consists of crushed marine shells, forming dunes that rise up to 50 meters in height. This protected area spans 2.5 km in width and 10.5 km in length, bordered by turquoise beaches and a volcanic landscape in warm ochre tones. Constant winds shape the shifting sands and carry the salty scent of the Atlantic Ocean.

The experience You’ll join a guided tour combining 4x4 transport and walking along marked trails through the dunes. Feel the fine sand beneath your feet and the cool sea breeze as you explore the park, with photo stops and free time to relax in the historic center of Corralejo. The tour concludes with panoramic views of the sunset, when the warm hues of the sand and sea shift dramatically under the changing light.

For whom This activity is ideal for families with children from 1 year old, nature lovers, and photography enthusiasts seeking a low-impact outdoor experience in a coastal natural setting. Not recommended for visitors with limited mobility who lack mobility aids, or those seeking high-intensity physical activities.
