At the end of the route, the Ixostia section closes the day with a narrow, enclosed passage that provides the final punctuation.

Who can do it Minimum age 14. Prior experience in Level II canyoning is essential. Good physical fitness, a cool head in committing situations and no fear of water or heights. Diablozulo is the most serious canyoning in the area for those who want to be genuinely tested.

About the Area

Monreal is a municipality in central Navarra, in the Valle de Izagaondoa, less than 30 km from Pamplona. The area is crossed by the Elorz river and its tributaries, which have carved canyons into the local limestone. Diablozulo is the most demanding of them and is known in the Navarrese canyoning world as a benchmark of technical difficulty in the region. The landscape combines Mediterranean forest and scrubland typical of the transition between Navarra's mountains and lowlands.
