What you'll experience

  1. Boarding in Mazarrón

    From 19:00 you board the schooner Karyam, meet the crew and the biologist and set off at dusk for a first night at anchor.

  2. Cetaceans, coves and snorkelling

    A full day sailing towards Cabo Tiñoso and Cabo Cope seeking dolphins and pilot whales, with stops in coves for snorkelling, paddleboarding and swimming. Dinner on deck under the stars.

  3. Final sail and return

    A morning of calm sailing and final sightings before heading back to port, arriving in Mazarrón around 16:00.

Do I need to know how to sail?
No. The crew (captain and marine biologist) handle the sailing. You just need to be comfortable at sea and able to swim for the snorkelling.
Are cetacean sightings guaranteed?
No, these are wild animals. But the Cabo Tiñoso to Cabo Cope area is excellent and the biologist aboard maximises the chances of a sighting.
Which meals are included?
All weekend meals except Friday dinner. They're prepared collaboratively among passengers, as part of life aboard.
Can I book the whole schooner for my group?
Yes, and there's a 10% discount for booking the whole boat. It's the best option for groups of friends or families.
How do I book?
