Cabo de Gata, Fornells, el Ebro, Llanes, el Sella and Laredo have something in common: a kayak trip that can be linked with others in a multi-day journey, sleeping in camping sites near the water. Each stage of this guide is a one-day guided trip; Picuco organises the rest of the trip for you upon request, with camping accommodation included. Before pitching your tent, remember that each campsite has its own rules regarding timings, pets and setup.
Cabo de Gata-Níjar: kayak through the coves of a marine park
The park protects the coastline of three municipalities in Almería: Almería, Níjar and Carboneras. It is a Biosphere Reserve, Geopark and Special Protection Area for Birds, so navigation takes place within a space with several protection statuses at once. Picuco organises Kayak through the coves of Cabo de Gata to explore that coast from the water.

Ebro River in Benissanet: wild stretch between islands and castles
The river runs free here between fluvial islands where many birds take refuge, underwater meadows that ripple with the current and small slopes that floods bite into the riverbank. In this stretch, the islands of Galatxo and the area of the Castellet de Banyoles settlement appear. Downstream, the medieval castle of Miravet, belonging to the Order of the Templars, rises above the riverbank. Picuco organises Guided kayak route on the Ebro river between Garcia and Benissanet to do this stage with a guide.

The Sella is born in the Picos de Europa, in Junseya, in Oseja de Sajambre (León), although it is popularly said to be at the Fuente del Infierno, and flows into the Cantabrian Sea forming the estuary of Ribadesella. It is one of the most important salmon rivers in Spain. Picuco organises Canoe descent of the Sella, Asturias to go down the river with a guide.

If you are going to sleep in a campsite, check their rules: in some, tents can only be pitched during reception hours and in the assigned pitch, and not all of them admit dogs.
