Description

Panoramic flights in a single-seat light aircraft (one passenger seat) across the provinces of Cádiz and Seville, operated by the Vampir Fliers association. From the air you discover three very different routes over the lower Guadalquivir and the province of Cádiz: the Guadalquivir Marshes and the Doñana area, the Atlantic coast and Bay of Cádiz (Sanlúcar, Chipiona, Rota), or the Sierra de Cádiz with Arcos de la Frontera and the white villages.

The aircraft has a single passenger seat, so the flight is fully personalised: for much of the route you can take the controls under the pilot's direct supervision.

Each experience includes a pre-flight safety briefing and a photo report of the flight. It's a unique alternative to conventional sightseeing, ideal for nature and aerial-photography lovers and as an anniversary or birthday gift. Choose duration and route; the take-off point, in the province of Cádiz or Seville, is confirmed when you book.

Expert Recommendations

Arrive about 30 minutes before your booked time for the briefing. Sunglasses are essential (glare off the sea and marsh), plus comfortable clothing and a light jacket (it gets cooler at altitude). A camera is recommended. Early morning and sunset offer the best light for photos. In spring and autumn you'll see more birds over the marshes.

Physical Requirements

No special fitness required; the flight is seated throughout. People with severe cardiac conditions, high-risk pregnancy or serious spine restrictions should check before booking.

About the Area

The flights cover the lower Guadalquivir and the province of Cádiz, an area combining the marshes and Doñana National Park, the Atlantic coast of the Sherry region (Sanlúcar, Chipiona, Rota, El Puerto de Santa María) and the Sierra de Cádiz with its white villages. It's a land of wine, beaches, protected nature and heritage, perfect for combining the flight with a day out on the ground.
