Small Plane Flight

Microlight flights are one of the most thrilling aerial experiences you can enjoy in Spain. From lightweight two-seater aircraft to touring planes that accommodate 3–4 passengers, this activity offers spectacular aerial views of cities, coasts, mountains, and natural landscapes. There are several types of microlight flight. The introductory flight is the most popular choice for beginners: a 20- to 60-minute flight where the pilot shows you key sights in the area from the air. Tourist flights soar over coasts, natural parks, or historic landmarks. For the more adventurous, acrobatic flights include manoeuvres such as loops, barrel rolls, and inverted flight. Spain boasts an enviable flight calendar thanks to over 300 days of sunshine each year. The busiest airfields for tourist microlight flights are located near Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Málaga, Valencia, Mallorca, and the Canary Islands. Each region offers unique scenery: glide over the Mediterranean coast, the plains of Castile, the peaks of the Pyrenees, or the volcanoes of Lanzarote. Most experiences include a pre-flight briefing with the pilot, safety equipment, and in many cases, the chance to take the controls for part of the flight (always under supervision).
