The Forcas do Fial Canyon

The Forcas do Fial (Level II) runs through the Fial River in the interior of Pontevedra, cutting a gorge with granite walls and pools. With moderate technical difficulty, it is ideal for those with basic experience looking to tackle more committed routes.

The experience

The route combines sections of riverbed walking, floating passages, pools requiring technical skill, and rappels over waterfalls. Turac guides, with over 20 years of experience in Galicia, adapt the pace to the group.

This is a Level II canyon — we recommend having completed at least one Level I route. If you have no prior canyoning experience, contact Turac for guidance on the most suitable route.
