What you'll experience

  1. Arrival, dome/yurt assignment and welcome.

    Arrival in the afternoon, accommodation assignment, tour of the estate with explanation of the eco approach. Dinner on your own in Suances or a picnic at the camp. First night with starry sky and almost no cell phone signal.

  2. Morning surf + yoga + alternating eco-workshop

    Organic breakfast at 9:00 AM. Surf session at Los Locos from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Lunch on your own. Afternoon of yoga or eco-workshop (impact of consumption on the sea, local cooking workshop, marine conservation). Dinner on your own. Video analysis some afternoons.

  3. Last session and coastal walk

    Final surf session. Guided coastal walk at Cabo Suances with the team. Check-out at noon. Long goodbyes, many people return.

What does 'eco' mean?
Solar energy for lighting and hot water, near-zero single-use plastic, organic food from local producers, laundry with biodegradable detergent, workshops on the impact of consumption on the sea. It's not a marketing label: the site is designed for this from the foundation up.
Minimum age?
For surf classes: 15. The site accepts families with younger kids who can play freely at the camp while parents take class. Ideal for 'families with teenage kids'.
What's the difference between the 3 packages?
Eco Surf Experience (3 nights, from €170): intro, 2 surf classes, 1 yoga. Bio Surf Immersion (5 nights, from €310, most popular): 4 classes, 3 yoga, video analysis included. Surf & Nature Retreat (7 nights, from €460): 6 classes, 4 yoga, extended eco-workshops.
Dome, yurt or bungalow?
The dome is geodesic, round, 2-3 person capacity. The Mongolian yurt has more space, 3-4 capacity. Wooden bungalows are cabin-style with one or two bedrooms. If solo, there are individual tents. Prices rise in this order: tent < dome < yurt ≤ bungalow.
Is there a group discount?
Yes: from 5 people there's a discount. And there's a '5%DESCUENTO' code on their website for online bookings. Groups can book off-season dates (October-May, minimum 4 people).
How do I get there?
Direct car to Suances. By public transport: bus from Santander or Torrelavega, both with daily frequency. Santander airport 30-40 min. Train stop in Torrelavega (Bilbao-Santander line) 15 min by car.
