What you'll experience

  1. Arrival at the chalet and beach exploration.

    Arrival in the afternoon, room assignment at the chalet, welcome by the BM Surf team. Short walk to La Salvé to see the sandy beach and get acquainted with the safe area for lessons. Group dinner at the chalet or free time in Laredo.

  2. Daily class of 2h + free afternoon + swimming pool

    Breakfast and a short walk to the beach. Surf session with a certified instructor, low ratio. Return to the chalet for lunch, rest and relax by the pool. In the afternoon: optional surfskate, walk around Laredo old town or extra free session in the water. Group dinner and tomorrow’s plan.

  3. Closing session and departure

    Last surf session with optional recording to track your progress. Lunch and chalet check-out in the afternoon. Farewell to the group. Departure by car or public transport from Laredo.

Is it suitable for absolute beginners?
Yes. The camp accepts anyone who has never tried surf. First sessions happen in the shorebreak and the progression curve is the usual one: day 1 paddling and pop-up technique, day 2-3 small waves in the foam zone, day 4-5 on waves that break a bit further out.
What exactly is included in the price?
Accommodation in the house, daily classes, board and wetsuit and complementary activities. Meals and transport to Laredo are not included by default; the operator can put together breakfast or full-board options on request.
Where exactly is the house?
Right by La Salvé beach in Laredo. A few minutes' walk from the sand. It has a pool and capacity for a group.
Do we need to bring our own board and wetsuit?
No. Gear is included in the camp. If you have your own kit you can bring it, but it isn't required.
What season do they operate?
Most of the year, with peak demand from spring to autumn (when the water is milder). For Easter, winter weekends or off-season sessions, contact the school directly.
How do you get to Laredo?
By car: 50 min from Bilbao on the A-8, 45 min from Santander. By train: Treto-Bárcena de Cicero station (FEVE line) 10 min by taxi. By bus: Alsa line from Santander or Bilbao direct to Laredo. Airport pickup also available on request.
