Description

Laredo Marina sits in a prime position between the Puebla Vieja and the start of La Salvé Beach, right in the heart of town. It is one of the most active marinas on the eastern Cantabrian coast, with over 300 berths and facilities that blend Laredo's fishing tradition with modern nautical tourism.

The port retains its original fishing dock, where boats land the daily catch each morning. Alongside it, the recreational area hosts sailboats, motorboats and pleasure craft. The Royal Nautical Club of Laredo, based at the port, organises regattas and crossings year-round and is one of the longest-established yacht clubs in Cantabria.

The harbour walk is one of the most pleasant strolls in Laredo, with views of the Bay of Santoña and Monte Buciero. Restaurants and bars along the quay serve fresh fish of the day and seafood, with terraces facing the dock. It is also the boarding point for boat trips around the bay and routes to the beaches of Santoña.

For sailors, the marina offers full services: fuel, water, electricity, boatyard, workshop and provisioning area. Its sheltered position within the bay makes it a safe haven even in rough weather.
