About Parascending
Parascending (also known as parasailing) is a water-based activity in which you fly suspended from a parachute while being towed by a speedboat from the sea. It's one of the most spectacular experiences you can enjoy on the beach: you gently ascend to 50–80 metres in the air and enjoy panoramic views of the coastline, the sea, and the surrounding landscape.
No prior experience or special fitness is required. Take-off and landing happen from the boat itself or from a platform—no running or jumping needed. Suitable for those over 12 years old, you can fly solo or tandem (two people at once).
Parascending is available in Spain's main coastal tourist areas: Costa del Sol, Costa Brava, Costa Blanca, Mallorca, Ibiza, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Cádiz, and many more. The main season runs from May to October, though in the Canary Islands it can be enjoyed all year round.
Flights last between 10 and 15 minutes in the air (plus time spent preparing on the boat), and prices range from €30 to €60 per person. It's the perfect activity for a beach holiday, stag and hen parties, or simply to experience the thrill of flying over the sea.
