The route: Pyrenean granite and two aerial bridges
Roca de la Creu is an imposing granite formation that dominates the Ribes de Freser valley in the heart of the Ripollès. The route starts with a 10-minute approach from the meeting point, followed by 2 hours of via ferrata progression and a 30-minute descent. The most spectacular element is the 15 m Tibetan bridge, which crosses an aerial corridor with views of the valley, and the Nepalese bridge, which requires a more technical crossing. Both bridges are the highlight of the activity and the memory everyone takes home.
Level K2/K3: initiation with guaranteed thrills
This via ferrata is rated K2/K3 on the European scale, making it the perfect introduction to the discipline: it requires some upper body strength and a moderate head for heights, but no prior technical experience. From age 8 with good fitness levels, children can fully enjoy the experience. The certified mountain guide adapts the pace to the group and explains the progression technique step by step.
