Second level of the AIXA series — intermediate caving on the Basque coast Cueva AIXA II is the next step in the progressive series of karst caves near Deba (Gipuzkoa). Compared to AIXA I, it features narrower passages, sections with greater height changes and more technical complexity. The result is an activity that requires some physical dexterity and a willingness to move through confined spaces.

The activity The guide equips the group with helmets with head torches and protective oversuits. The route includes crawling, lateral passages and level changes that make the experience more technical than AIXA I. There are fixed ropes in some sections. Approximate duration 3 hours including gear up.
