Networks: royal roads
Meeting with the guide and first stage through Redes Natural Park, following old royal roads among beech forests and mountain pastures. Overnight stay in a mountain village.

Cow pastures
Day around the brañas, the pastoral settlements of the vaqueiros de alzada herdsmen, with their cabañas built with escoba thatched roofs. Trekking and livestock culture hand in hand.

Put and the beech forest of Peloño.
Transfer to Ponga Natural Park and trek through the Peloño beech forest, the largest well-preserved beech forest on the peninsula. Night in the valley.

Granaries and mountain villages
Stage through mountain villages, their architecture of granaries and bread houses and the rural life that still inhabits them. Quiet paths and a wealth of heritage.

Somiedo: lakes and shelters
Transfer to Somiedo, kingdom of the brown bear. Journey towards the glacial lakes of Saliencia and the brañas with thatched roofs. Last night of the trek.

Closing in Somiedo
Final stage between brañas and high meadows, with time to reflect on the journey. Group farewell at midday.
