What you'll experience

  1. Reception and horse assignment

    Meeting with the instructor, group introduction, horse assignment based on your level and first contact with the animal and the Western saddle.

  2. Ride through the Duratón Canyon

    Full day horseback riding tour around the Natural Park, with the canyon walls and the flight of the griffon vultures in the background.

  3. Among centuries-old junipers

    Stage through the juniper forests of the Segovian paramo, a unique landscape, with a hearty meal at midday.

  4. Heading north across the plateau

    Open paramotor day linking towns and historical paths, gaining ground towards the Ribera del Duero.

  5. Among the vineyards of Ribera

    Ride among the vineyards that shape the landscape, with an optional heritage stop at a historic winery in the area.

  6. Final stage to the river

    Sixth and final day on horseback to reach the banks of the Duero River, completing the 40 km crossing.

  7. End of the expedition

    Breakfast, farewell to the horses and the group, and end of the expedition.
