The Tiétar Valley extends along the southern slopes of the Sierra de Gredos, in southwestern Ávila. With a mild climate and lush vegetation – pine forests, chestnut trees, clear-water ravines – it is known as the 'Andalusia of Ávila' due to its temperate temperature. By car: the Tiétar Valley is accessible from Ávila via the N-502 and mountain roads (around 1h depending on the exact location).

From Madrid: approximately 1h30 via the A-5 and detours towards the south of Gredos.

From Talavera de la Reina: around 50 min.
