    You reach the Penedès from Barcelona in under an hour. Mid-morning, guided tour of a family-run organic winery: walk through the dryland vineyard, explanation geared towards children and their first taste of must while adults sample local wines.

  2. Vilafranca and rest

    Free and late lunch in Vilafranca del Penedès: market, old town and, if you fancy it, the VINSEUM wine museum. Check-in at the rural accommodation and time for the little ones to run around before dinner.

  3. Country breakfast with animals

    Outdoor breakfast at an organic farm: cured meats, cheeses and Reserva cava for the adults, while the children meet the animals on the farm. A final walk among vineyards and return home with a backpack full of stories.

From what age can children take part?
The grape-must tasting is designed for ages 3 and up. The cava breakfast on the organic estate recommends ages 6 and up. We adapt the winery to your family's ages.
What exactly does the price include?
A guided winery visit with a family tasting, a country breakfast with animals and one night of rural lodging. Transport and unspecified meals are separate; extras (theatrical visit, Mehari tour) are optional.
Is it a weekend or can it be extended?
The base combo is 2 days and 1 night, but we tailor it: we can add nights, more wineries or extra experiences depending on what your family is after.
Do I need a car?
It's highly recommended. The wineries are spread across the region and, although there's a train to Vilafranca del Penedès, getting between estates is far easier by car.
How do I book?
You tell us the dates, the number of adults and children and their ages, and we line up the winery, breakfast and lodging. It's a tailor-made combo, not an automatic booking.
