The trade wind blows twelve months a year, and they know what to do with it here.
Why it stands out
- 01
Operational all year round
One of the four or five areas in the world with constant wind from January to December. Without seasonal breaks like in Tarifa or southern France.
- 02
Two distinct learning profiles
Fuerteventura with Zodiac and accommodation, open sea and all-inclusive format. Gran Canaria with powerful waves, an intensive three-day course, accommodation separate. Each has its own audience.
- 03
Complete set always included.
Kite, board, harness, helmet with radio and vest. Both schools work with radio for immediate feedback during the session, which is what differentiates a good course from an average one.

Frequently asked questions
Which is better to start, Fuerteventura or Gran Canaria?
Fuerteventura (Corralejo) for full immersion with accommodation included and Zodiac-boat classes — the most comfortable format for absolute beginners. Gran Canaria (Jinámar) for a shorter intensive course (3 days), with self-arranged accommodation and a bit more wave for progressing.
Do I need previous experience?
No, in neither case. Both courses are open to absolute beginners. If you've kited before, instructors adapt the session to your level from day one.
What if there's no wind?
Very rare in the Canaries thanks to the trade winds, but if there's not enough wind on a given day the class is rescheduled or replaced with an alternative activity (snorkel, wakeboard, theory session). Both schools have this protocol.
When is the best wind season?
May-September is the trade-wind peak, with stronger and steadier wind. From October to April there's still operational wind almost every day, with milder air temperatures (18-22°C) and slightly cooler water (19-21°C).
Minimum age?
12 in both products, with moderate fitness, balance and strength to handle the gear. Minors require parental authorisation.
Solo, couple or group?
All three formats work. Courses are private or semi-private (1-2 students per instructor in Fuerteventura), so the social atmosphere is more in the accommodation than in the session. Both Corralejo and Las Palmas have nightlife and restaurants.
