The Experience
After meeting and receiving equipment in Ampuero or Udalla, you’ll begin the descent in a kayak or canoe through calm sections to practice paddling. At one point, you may choose to take a small jump into the river or continue along the bank. At the end, enjoy a picnic featuring local specialties such as sobao and regional water, while taking in the valley views.
