Description
An introductory diving session for anyone who has never worn a tank before. It takes place in the sheltered area next to the harbour of Cabo de Palos, inside the marine reserve, at a depth of between 3 and 6 metres. It starts with a short theory session - breathing through the regulator, equalising your ears, hand signals - continues with practice in shallow water, and finishes with a guided dive of around 40 minutes, with the instructor by your side the whole time. Count on about 2.5-3 hours from arrival to departure. From age 8. You need to know how to swim. Before diving you fill in a medical questionnaire, and if you answer yes to any question, a medical certificate is required. You should not dive with congestion or after flying in the previous 24 hours. This is not a course and does not lead to certification: for that there is the Open Water Diver course, taught at the same centres.
