Level II Coasteering at Costa da Vela

This Level II coasteering at Costa da Vela builds on the Level I experience. The route covers less accessible stretches of the Cabo Home coastline, with greater wave exposure, higher jumps (optional), coastal rappels and longer swimming sections between cliffs.

The experience

The activity combines coastal rock hiking, swimming between Atlantic cliffs, marine cave exploration, optional water jumps of up to 8-10 metres and rappelling on the coastal rock face. The guide adapts the route to sea conditions and the group's ability.

Level and requirements

Strong swimming ability and comfort in the sea with moderate waves are essential. We recommend having completed Coasteering Level I. Medium-to-high fitness level required.
