What you'll experience

Arrival and briefing

Arrival at the accommodation, bike assignment, saddle height adjustment and 15-min technical briefing with the guide. Short test ride (3-4 km) on nearby paths.
30 km circular ride with tasting

9 a.m. start with packed sandwich. Circular route on Alt Penedès rural tracks with a long mid-morning stop at a family organic winery for a 3-wine tasting + snacks. Back to the accommodation around 17h.
Vilafranca and return

Quiet morning: walk through Vilafranca old town and Sunday market in Plaça de la Vila, or an optional short 15 km bike ride. Light local lunch and afternoon departure.

Minimum age for the MTB route?

Recommended from age 14 with biking experience. Kids 12-13 with good fitness on request and parental responsibility.

What gear is included?

Dual-suspension bike, homologated helmet, lock and printed map. Personal items: shorts, glasses, gloves, hydration pack.

Is there a minimum group for the tasting?

Yes, minimum 2 to activate it. Solo travellers ask about joining other weekend groups.

What if it rains on ride day?

With light rain, we ride (terrain drains well). With heavy rain, the route shifts to the next day or switches to a guided Vilafranca old-town visit.

Can I rent an e-bike?

Yes, €25-35/day supplement over the muscle bike. Recommended for mixed-level groups.

Is there a shorter variant?

Yes, 20 km route skipping the north loop; decided at briefing depending on group conditions.
