Duratón canyon and a night in a bubble under the stars

The plan starts on the water: a calm kayak descent through the Hoces del Río Duratón, the canyon walls closing in and griffon vultures gliding above. Then up to the San Frutos hermitage via the San Frutos path — barely a flat kilometre — to lean out a hundred metres above the meander, one of Castile's loveliest sights. There's time to wander Sepúlveda, a medieval village of golden stone, and close the day with wood-fired roast lamb. And then comes what you'll really remember: a night in a transparent bubble hotel, just for two, with a king bed, private jacuzzi and a telescope to observe planets and satellites under a Starlight-certified sky. You fall asleep counting stars and wake to the Castilian countryside on the other side of the bubble.
