Description

A group of four granite zoomorphic sculptures carved by the Vettones between the 4th and 1st centuries BC. These verracos — stylised bulls and pigs — are the best-known example of pre-Roman Meseta sculpture. Set in a dehesa at the foot of Sierra de Gredos. In 1468, the Treaty of the Bulls of Guisando was signed here, recognising Isabella the Catholic as heir to Castile.
