Description

The Sayatón Viewpoint offers one of the most spectacular panoramas in the Alcarria: an aerial view of the Entrepeñas reservoir and the limestone cliffs of the Tagus cutting through the páramo landscape. On clear days, the turquoise water contrasts with the ochre and green tones of the hillsides.

Access is free with car parking right by the viewpoint. It is an essential spot for photography, especially at sunset when golden light bathes the cliffs and water.

Sayatón is a small village in Guadalajara 39 km from Pareja, on the road to Pastrana. It can be combined with a visit to Pastrana and the Alcarria villages in a day trip.
