Ordesa Viewpoint

The Mirador de Ordesa is a viewpoint located in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, in the Aragonese Pyrenees. This natural balcony offers a direct view of the deep glacial Ordesa valley, surrounded by towering rocky walls and forests of beech and fir trees. It is easily accessible from the road connecting Torla with the Pradera de Ordesa, making it an ideal spot to stop and admire the landscape.

From the viewpoint, you can observe the valley canyon, waterfalls cascading down the slopes, and the iconic peaks of the Monte Perdido massif, which rise over 3,000 meters high. Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park was established in 1918, making it one of Spain's first national parks. The viewpoint allows visitors to appreciate the vastness of this landscape and understand the importance of its conservation.

Visiting the Mirador de Ordesa requires no entrance fee or prior reservation. Access is free and can be reached by private vehicle or public transport from Torla. The estimated time to enjoy the viewpoint is 30 to 45 minutes, ideal for a stop along your route. Comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for the season are recommended, as weather can be variable. The viewpoint is accessible for people with reduced mobility, although the surrounding terrain may be uneven.
