Description

The La Larri Waterfalls are a series of falls where the La Larri River descends from the Llanos de La Larri to the floor of the Pineta Valley, in Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park (Bielsa, Huesca). The water, fed by the Munia lakes, cascades through a succession of drops cut into limestone.

The Llanos de La Larri are an alpine meadow 1.3 km long and 300 m wide, suspended 300 metres above the valley floor. In spring (May-June) the meadow fills with wildflowers and cattle graze — a scene that seems from another century.

The circular route starts from the Parador de Bielsa car park (1,280 m), climbs to the Llanos (1,550 m) and descends past the waterfalls. About 10 km with 680 m elevation gain, around 4 hours. Can be combined with the Cinca Waterfall on the same day.

Pineta is Ordesa's least crowded sector. No shuttle bus, no access restrictions: you can drive to the Parador.
