Morella Castle

The Castillo de Morella is a fortress perched atop a rocky crag at 1,070 meters altitude, dominating the landscape of the Els Ports region in Castellón. This military construction rises above the urban core of Morella, a walled town whose ramparts embrace its historic center, offering wide and clear panoramic views of the surroundings. The castle's strategic location allowed control of trade and defensive routes since the Middle Ages.
