Who this fits

With friends Romantic Local Life Relaxation Gastronomy Wellness
You'll fit right in if you’ve ridden before and want two slow days in the countryside, not a horseback riding lesson. Four hours in the saddle will tire your legs and back even if you go at a walking pace: if you’ve never ridden, ask for the shorter option. This isn't a spa getaway: it's a rural estate, home-cooked food and horses. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel in Salamanca city center, this isn't the plan for you.

Frequently asked

Got a question not listed here? Just ask.

Do you need to know how to ride?
Yes, at least having ridden a couple of times is recommended. We don’t teach horseback riding from scratch, but the horses are gentle and the routes go at a walk and soft trot. If you arrive with no experience, ask for the shorter activity option.
What happens if it rains?
The routes go out even with light rain; if there is a storm or impassable mud, one of the two routes will be rescheduled or replaced with quad biking, at no extra cost.
Can I come alone?
The plan requires a minimum of two people to start. If you are traveling alone, we can notify you when another booking comes in with which to combine dates.
Is the ham tasting included?
Not by default. It’s an optional extra that is booked in advance and adds to the base price.
Is the accommodation always at the same estate?
The main option is a rural estate in the area; if it’s unavailable, you will be relocated to a nearby country house close to the Tormes River with the same plan structure.
