Who this fits

With friends Adventure Ecotourism Local Life

It fits if you've never climbed but want to learn properly (not from YouTube), if you already top-rope and want to step up to leading sport routes, or if you've been away from rock and need a technique refresh with an instructor watching closely. Come solo, as a couple or in a small group.

It doesn't fit if you're after multi-pitch or adventure routes (different product), expect to climb 7c from day one, plan to come in mid-summer (extreme heat on the wall, early mornings only), or aren't willing to walk 15-30 minutes uphill to reach the crag each morning.

Frequently asked

Got a question not listed here? Just ask.

Do I need previous climbing experience?
No. Half the group usually comes with no prior experience; day 1 is built exactly for that. If you already climb, we'll discuss your level beforehand to assign suitable sectors.
What if it rains all three days?
El Chorro's limestone takes a while to dry. If the forecast is very bad (continuous rain), we offer free date changes subject to availability. Occasional rain: we move to more sheltered sectors.
Can I combine it with Caminito del Rey?
Yes. It's one of the most common rest-day suggestions. The ticket (~€10) is booked separately online and we help with the process. Limited slots: book 1-2 weeks ahead.
Can I bring my own gear?
If you have your own climbing shoes, harness and helmet, perfect: use them. The rest (ropes, quickdraws, belay device) is provided by the instructor. If not, everything is included.
How many hours of climbing per day?
Between 4 and 5 active hours on the wall, plus 15-30 min approach each way. Enough to learn without finishing exhausted.
