Description

A spectacular set of artificial caves carved into a vertical cliff face over 300 metres high in Bocairent. Dating from the 10th-11th centuries, these windows cut into the limestone rock form one of the most unique archaeological sites in the Valencian Community. A marked trail leads to the base of the cliff, where the scale of this medieval engineering becomes clear. Interior access reveals connected chambers and stunning valley views through the openings.
