Jijona Nougat Museum

The Nougat Museum occupies one of Jijona's historic factories — the world capital of artisan nougat — and offers a guided tour covering the production of Jijona and Alicante nougat from almond to finished product. The visit includes a free tasting of different varieties.

Jijona concentrates Spain's largest nougat production, with active factories like El Lobo and 1880. The museum is a popular day trip from the coast, especially between October and December when production peaks. Affordable entry (EUR 1.50) and suitable for all ages.
