Context
This experience takes place at the private airfield of Casarrubios del Monte in Castilla-La Mancha, featuring a 950-meter paved runway. The airfield serves as a training center for both professional and recreational pilots, located 65 km from Madrid. It offers the opportunity to fly over the historic city of Toledo and its surrounding rural areas. The flight is conducted in a Tecnam P2006, a modern, lightweight aircraft ideal for introductory and training flights.
The Experience
The adventure begins with a theoretical briefing where you’ll learn the basic components and controls of the light aircraft. Then, accompanied by an instructor with over 30 years of flying experience and more than 8,000 flight hours, you’ll take the controls under direct supervision. For 40 to 60 minutes, you’ll pilot the aircraft, feeling the engine’s sound and wind as you gaze down on Toledo from above, with the option to choose your flight path and duration. The experience concludes with a landing and a debriefing session to address any questions.
For Whom
This activity is suitable for adults over 16 years old with moderate physical ability and no fear of flying. It’s ideal for aviation enthusiasts, those seeking a controlled adventure, and small groups wishing to share the flight. It is not suitable for minors, individuals with physical limitations that prevent operating controls or sitting for extended periods, or those with medical conditions incompatible with flight.
