Rappelling Intro Course in Calp

Context Barranco del Mascarat in Calp is a dry ravine featuring rock formations reaching up to 30 meters in height, making it ideal for beginners learning rappelling. Located just a 5-minute walk from the car access point, it offers a natural environment with well-maintained, safe trails for approach and return. The breeze carries the scent of thyme, and the limestone rock creates a dramatic vertical landscape that invites adventure.

The Experience You’ll take part in a 2- to 4-hour theory-practice course where you’ll learn essential rappelling techniques and safety procedures. You’ll descend up to five rappels, including one 30-meter rappel, under the guidance of certified instructors. The feel of the rope against your hands and the echo of your movements in the rocky walls accompany each descent.
