Context
The Old Candelaria Path is a historic pilgrimage route connecting San Cristóbal de La Laguna with the Church of Santa Ana in Candelaria, Tenerife. This 8 km journey traverses the leeward highlands of the island, featuring a total elevation gain of approximately 237 meters and offering expansive views of the Güímar Valley and the southeastern coastline. The trail includes sections of asphalt, cobblestone, and dirt paths, clearly marked with white signage to guide hikers.
