Intensive Caving Immersion Course in Guardo, Palencia

Context Caving in Guardo, Palencia, takes place in a unique geological setting within the UNESCO Global Geopark of Las Loras. This intensive course makes use of the region’s karst formations, where natural cave temperatures remain consistently at 8–9°C, offering authentic conditions for training. The Experience Over four days, you’ll combine theoretical sessions on geology and vertical progression techniques with hands-on practice in simulated caves at La Roca Multiaventura and real explorations in nearby natural caves. You’ll feel the moisture on the rock and hear the echo of dripping water as you apply spelunking and canyoning techniques under expert supervision.

For Whom This course is suitable for participants aged 14 and over with moderate physical fitness, interested in learning and deepening skills in caving and canyoning. It is not recommended for individuals with cold intolerance or mobility issues that may hinder vertical movement.
