Context Sima Llenca del Serrano, located in Tous, Valencia, is a 50-meter-deep vertical cave renowned for its mostly abraded shaft and distinctive limestone formations. Situated near the Tous reservoir, this cave offers a natural environment rich in calcareous structures and natural springs, making it ideal for experienced cavers. The vertical descent ranks among the most technically demanding in the Valencian Community, with a short and straightforward approach from the village. ">The Experience The activity begins with a brief walk from Tous to the cave entrance, where you’ll be fitted with a helmet, headlamp, and harness. The 50-meter descent is primarily conducted via rappelling, offering panoramic views into the shaft and a strong sense of suspension in mid-air. You’ll explore inner vaults, including the 'Vicente Ajado' chamber, illuminated only by your headlamp, where humidity and the echoing sound of dripping water create a cool, mysterious atmosphere. The experience concludes with a technical rope ascent to exit the cave. ">For Whom This activity is designed for experienced cavers with prior training in vertical descents and rope techniques. Participants must be adults in good physical condition, comfortable with heights, and without vertigo.
