Description

The Outariz Hot Springs are one of the most popular thermal complexes in Ourense, on the banks of the Miño river a few kilometres from the centre. Together with the neighbouring Burga de Canedo, they form an enclosure of Japanese- and Asian-inspired pools fed by mineral-medicinal water that surfaces naturally at around 60 °C. The landscaped riverside setting invites you to alternate hot baths with the open air.

There is a paid area (a serviced enclosure with lockers and opening hours) and free outdoor pools nearby. It is part of the Miño thermal route, which links A Chavasqueira, Outariz, Burga de Canedo and Muíño da Veiga, reachable on foot, by car or on the thermal tourist train. Ourense's thermal use dates back to Roman times.
