The Walls
The Tajos de la Fuente Gorda, below the village of Comares, are a formation of vertical limestone walls hosting 30 fully-equipped sport climbing routes. The setting is exceptional: at over 700 metres altitude with views across the Axarquía and out to the Mediterranean.
The Sectors
Sector Principal: the main sector, with routes graded 6b to 8a+, including classic high-grade lines. Suited to intermediate and advanced climbers.
Sector Bolo: smaller sector with routes from 7b to 7b+ and options of 6c+ to 7a, good for warm-up or mid-level climbers.
Facilities
Camping and bivouacking at the foot of the routes is permitted. There is a drinking water fountain on the access track next to the walls. The walk-in from Comares is short.
Who Is It For?
