Description

The Walls The Tajos de la Fuente Gorda, below the village of Comares, are a formation of vertical limestone walls hosting 30 fully-equipped sport climbing routes. The setting is exceptional: at over 700 metres altitude with views across the Axarquía and out to the Mediterranean.

The Sectors Sector Principal: the main sector, with routes graded 6b to 8a+, including classic high-grade lines. Suited to intermediate and advanced climbers. Sector Bolo: smaller sector with routes from 7b to 7b+ and options of 6c+ to 7a, good for warm-up or mid-level climbers.

Facilities Camping and bivouacking at the foot of the routes is permitted. There is a drinking water fountain on the access track next to the walls. The walk-in from Comares is short.

Who Is It For? Climbers with previous sport climbing experience using a rope. Own or rented equipment required (the zipline operator in the area offers gear rental). Not suitable for beginners without prior experience.
