Context
The Sierra de Espadán, located in the Valencian Community, is a natural park renowned for its limestone formations, offering ideal terrain for block climbing. Well-marked trails provide easy access to low-lying climbing routes, making it an excellent choice for those new to climbing. The mountainous landscape and Mediterranean woodland create a peaceful atmosphere, where the wind carries the scent of thyme and birdsong accompanies your ascent.
The experience
During the session, you'll practice ascending blocks up to 3.5 meters, feeling the natural texture of the rock beneath your hands. Under the supervision of certified instructors, you'll master essential climbing techniques and descend via rappel using a certified C-rated descender. You’ll experience the secure friction of your harness and helmet throughout the descent. The activity combines moderate physical effort with immersion in a serene natural environment.
For whom
This activity is designed for complete beginners with no prior climbing experience. It’s suitable for adults and children aged 12 and older, provided they have moderate physical fitness. It is not recommended for individuals with vertigo, fear of heights, or physical limitations that may affect participation.
